Where will I be traveling?
I would like to travel the interior places
of Tamil nadu. Especially focusing upon the Chetinadu houses in
Karaikudi and would also take interest in temple architecture (places
like Madurai, Tanjore, Srirangam)
When will I be traveling?
I would be traveling in the month of December and January.
Focus Area:
Vernacular architecture of Tamil nadu.
Special focus on the detailing done in the columns and other areas.
The materials used for construction.
The construction detailing of the houses and temples.

will be better if either chettinad or temple architecture are focused on rather than both…having just spent some time traveling thru chettinad I see a lotta potential.
2 building types and 3 focus areas are mentioned. Could one handle all thes in such a short time?

Tamilnadu has got varied architectural langauges.Candidate has to explain which part he is going to study.
there is a road bridge near it running parallely to it connecting the two land masses as like the rail bridge.it is taken from that i think...
