I would like to travel Maharashtra, especially Nagpur ,Pune ,Raigad & places at western coast and nearby villages

During SEM holidays (28th dec to 6th Jan)
Focus Area:
-Buddhist architecture of Nagpur and nearby villages.
-Forts built during Maratha period by Shivaji and his followers
-Factors influencing the scale and function of forts
-Effect of climate of built form
-Places as tourist spot

would like to know more about the buddhist architecture of nagpur…are they rock cut cave temples like in ajanta and ellora?
I am not sure of the presence buddist arch of significance at Nagpur and also of the potential of the other focus area mentioned.
